This year TRIC are supporting the excellent charitable work that UWC Atlantic and Bright Young Dreams do.
UWC Atlantic was founded in 1962 in South Wales and is the original United World College and the heart of the UWC movement. Set in a 12th-century castle, it brings together 350 students from over 90 countries, fostering a diverse and mission-driven community. The college offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) alongside experiential learning in systems transformation, environmental conservation, social justice and ocean rescue training. With a focus on real-world impact, it prepares students to become global changemakers. As a registered charity, UWC Atlantic relies solely on fundraising to provide scholarships, ensuring students are selected based on potential, not financial means. As the founding UWC, it continues to inspire a new generation dedicated to peace, sustainability and making a difference in the world. Every donation, no matter the size, can change a student’s life - opening the door to education and giving them hope for a brighter future. Find out more here: youtu.be/4N3wgMinK9A
The Bright Young Dreams campaign was formed in December 2023 by The Children’s Hospital Charity patrons Dan Walker, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and Jon Richardson to help address the urgent global crisis in children’s mental health. Funds raised by the campaign are in aid of The Children’s Hospital Charity and will support clinical advancements, and the investment in updated, world-class infrastructure at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Every donation, no matter how large or small, helps to make it better for patients, and you will be helping not just Sheffield, but helping support children around the world.
We are asking our wonderful, kind and loyal TRIC supporters to donate what they can to help us support these two fantastic charities - just £5 or £10 can make a world of difference so please donate or fundraise today for our chosen TRIC charities!
